dusty turned 6 months old yesterday... what? yup. already!!!! he's about to crawl and is sitting up and starting to throw fits when things don't go his way. he got that from his mama's side of the family........ maybe not. kel is doing great and just lovin being a mom. she was meant to be a mom!!!!
the road has been great and the shows keep growin. thank you all!!!!!! nashville was great, writing with radney was great, the band was great, and havin the whole team together in one place was great!!! i love the red door bar! we were all there (i always go there when in nashville) and i looked around and just took in the moment because i have made so many great friends there in such a short amount of time. oh, and by the way, people up there kinda like what we do down here in texas. someone asked me the other night why all the bands that come up there from texas seem to have so much passion and soul for what we're doin.... i replied, "because we play umpteen shows a year and really enjoy what we do for the fans who love what we do". texas is a tremendous scene and i know many of us take it for granted, but people please be conscious of the fact that this doesn't happen any where else in the world... with the exeption of europe maybe. this scene thrives because of you the fan!!!!!!! people in texas (and surrounding states) take their friends and family out to hear live "origional" music and scoot a boot or stand up at the stage and scream and sing along. it's a precious thing!!!! keep it comin!!
gotta go to bed now. dusty will be callin for daddy in a few short hours.
we thank you, we love you
