Well, well, well... so when is this #*!@ record coming out? Tuesday, AUGUST 16th!!! It's official and set in stone. Come hell or high water you can get your copy soon!! Thanks for all the patience people. C'mon, give me a break. I said July, but I meant August.

A single will be hitting the air waves in mid-July and when this happens it is crucial for everyone to call in to your radio station and request some Brandon Rhyder air time. We will also be doing a radio tour during this time. The choice for the first single will be made in the next day or so. As I get more info I will pass it along so everyone knows the release date for radio and the title of the single. The funny thing is that one of the top choices for the single has never been heard by most people. That's right! There's one song that I haven't played live yet! Get you some of that!

Also, there was a message on the the board which was asking about the date on July 2nd at the Sacred Spur. It's an all day event which kicks off at noon and lasts deep into the evening. Red Stegall will headline the event and I will go on just before him at 5:30 in the afternoon. The price of the tickets is $30.00. Come out and have some pre-July 4th fun in East Mountain, Texas.

I hope the weekend was good to you all! I got to recharge my batteries with my family and friends behind the pine curtain and man was fun. It's always good to go back home!!

I would like to personally thank Cody and my bro Robbie and everyone else who helped out at the party in Reklaw on Saturday. Matt Powell came out to the shindig with Wade Bowen and we all jammed for more than four hours. Good times... Good times!!! I would also like to thank my close buddy Ricky Casey for throwing a monster party on Sunday. Moonshine and BBQ included!

I got the shock of a lifetime this weekend when my great friend David Burr gave me a Martin Guitar of his. At first I refused his generosity, but he was adamant about giving me this gift. It blows me away!!! I have so many things to be thankful for, but my closest friends are many times the ones who continue to give, listen and encourage me with their undying support! Thank you Dave! It means more to me than you could ever imagine!

The HOV Tour has lifted off and the fun starts now! Tonight Walt Wilkins, Susan Gibson and I will be at the River Stage in Waco to kick it into another gear. This show starts at 8:00 pm. I also hear that they're shooting a DVD of tonight's show!!! Does the camera really add ten pounds? HA HA! I hope to see you there or at another show along the way coming to a town near you!
