hey guys, hope to find everyone jim good and dandy. i'm in a mellow mood here in austin texas on a wednesday night. the house is quiet. i'm the only one awake... goes with the job. anyway, i started thinking tonight... you know, lookin at my little guy, about the "shape" this old world is in. how through at least two previous generations i've been told how much better the world was when they were a kid. i think to myself..."even with all the hardships... even with no a/c." and then i think back to when i was a kid. no cell phones, no beepers, atari, walkmans, 5 channels on t.v., tractors, gardens, sandboxes, fishing poles, bb guns, bicycles, and trips to grandma's house with three kids in the back seat going 59 mph... daddy had the cruise set. man i had it good. i think i might be the luckiest man alive. now take a deep breath. dusty's not even two and we have i-phones, laptops, blackberries, battery packs, costco, sams club, satellite, cable, hundreds of crappy channels, playstation 3, xbox, i-pods, global warming (if you believe in that), more news stations than you can shake a stick at, instant messaging, and backyards, and swimming pools and tonka trucks and tractors and trains and fresh tomatoes and home cooked meals and fine bottles of wine............ whew.

ok people. we are still at war here. our soldiers are still dying daily. we must keep that in our thoughts and prayers daily. please come home soon and i pray for peace.

change is part of it. adapt or get left behind. we are building the future for future generations... you might have to drive a little further out of the city to get there, but it's still there... you know, the country.

thank you for all your support. the cd is selling great. keep bringin people out and tell your neighbors and friends. i adore you all and hope to cyou all again real soon.
