I told you there was a new Brandon Rhyder web site coming and here it is! First I would like to thank Will and Liz at the Backyard for all the hard work! It looks great!
The new site will make it easier for everyone to interact with us and in turn us with ya'll (Texan). Did I just confuse anyone? Sign up on the eventmail so you can always know where I'm going to show up. Get your family and friends and household pets signed up as well. Especially monkeys!!! You can also click on the community icon and leave us messages. Please keep it clean. See what I'm saying... Now we can all communicate without going to a yahoo group. I love it!
Where do I start with the progress of the new Brandon Rhyder CD. It's badass!!! I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I have never been involved with a project that I believe in as much as I do this specific one. I love every song, the musicians, the production, etc... We have the final mix and we are going in this Wednesday to master it!!! Now if the record is done then why can't we release it sooner than mid summer? Art work, photo shoots, press, distribution, duplication... The list goes on. Believe me, I want it out now!!! Patience is the virtue.
What is the title of the album? I'm not sure the proposed title is a secret because I'm sure I've told a few my thoughts. If you know it, spill it. At the same time I'm not opposed to having anyone put their two cents in on what you think the title should be. Hey, a lot of you have heard me sing most of the songs that are going to be on this record. Most of you have bootlegged acoustic versions I'm sure. Come up with a title and send it to us! Be creative!
There's a last minute gig I picked up in College Station/Bryan area at Carnie's tomorrow night. That would be Tuesday. April 19th. Spread the word and come out! Make me look good and represent people!
